Couple of before and after pictures to help visualize the moment. In the staging area before an excellent performance and the stress reducing ritual of destroying your set. The kids let it all hang out after it was over. If someone can help me bottle that we can go ahead and retire.
The kids had a great time, traded pins with new friends from around the world, and had enough time to put in two quality performances and finish in the top ten in the world. Not bad for their first big road trip. We are all very proud of their efforts over a very long season. Make sure at some point to ask them if they enjoyed it?

Some good clean fun.
The kids were getting on each others nerves but managed to pull it together long enough to cream each other.
Update.
The first picture is the lining up of the teams by the " men in kilts" where they really get the kids fired up for Spontaneous . The second one is Vary waiting further to come out. Everyone is having a little down time before we run through a practice before storing the props.

Road trip.
We finally changed drivers so I could test Robies ipod knowledge and he did slightly better until we got to my country music. This picture is from a rest stop about an hour and a half south of Columbus OH. We checked on our cargo there and the West Virginia roads were not kind. Nothing a little spray paint won't fix. Somehow Robie missed the fact that I didn't latch the trailer door properly until a guy honked at us. Everything is ok we hadn't gone far. Next stop Columbus.

Description of the Nature Trailer Problem
The Problem
The team's problem is to design, build and drive a human-powered vehicle that travels along with a Camper on a camping trip. When the vehicle and Camper arrive at the Campground, the vehicle leaves the Camper behind and travels on a Nature Trail. On the Nature Trail, the vehicle overcomes an obstacle, cleans up the environment, encounters wildlife, and is repaired. The performance will also include a Campground Character that relates the vehicle's experiences from the Campground.
The creative emphases of the problem are on the vehicle, the Camper's change of appearance, the Nature Trail, the circumstances the vehicle encounters on the Nature Trail and how it overcomes them, and the Campground Character. The Spirit of the Problem is for the team to design, build and drive a human-powered vehicle that travels with a Camper and goes on a camping trip. At the Campground, the vehicle leaves the Camper, which changes appearance, and travels on a Nature Trail, where it encounters four different circumstances. A Campground Character at the Campground relates the vehicle's experiences to others.

More Pictures of the team

I thought I should include a few more pictures from our season that have yet to be published, and you can probably see why. Today the team did their performance for the school and it went very well. Their are definately seasoned professionals by now and are excited by the challenge that awaits. If anyone has any pictures they want to share just email them to me and I will put them on.
